It's good for "the community" to have hyperlocal events that create value.

RSVP for DAT WORLDWIDE TOO...
Digital Analytics Thursdays (DAT) is the world's first "Digital Analytics" event started in 2011. DAT was created to enable digital analytics and Internet professionals at all points in their careers to come together worldwide to discuss, learn, and collaborate on how to create economic value with digital data (big or small), research, and analytics.
DAT is all about smart and cool people having active conversations, creating hyperlocal, digital analytics communities, and helping everyone create and drive new and incremental, analytically-driven, Internet-based commerce at our businesses and jobs.
DAT is a hyperlocal event occuring on a night during month worldwide - at local restaurant, pub, concert hall, meeting place, or other local business. During DAT people from many industries and experience-levels at all points in their career enjoy networking, free food and drinks, and industry thought-leadership from the sponsor. No "sales pitches" occur at DAT.
DAT's goal is to bring together people who have shared interests learning more about digital data, analytics, and research - in a unbiased forum that is not meant to sell you anything but rather to make your smarter about data, analytics, and research.
The goal is to share information, collaborate, and expand digital analytics in new and innovative ways while expanding the audience for and adoption of digital analytics.
The result of DAT are long-lasting connections to smart and cool people. What happens next and after DAT and the value you generate from the connections made at DAT is up to you and them.
DAT has been held across the world - from Los Angeles, California to Douala, Cameroon (in Africa).
All effort and money generated by the event is asked to be donated to local charities or use to help others in the community.
